Phosphating Chemicals

PALBOND® PALFOS® & FERRICOAT® – Phosphating chemicals for every process, application, and substrate

Chemically converting the surface

Through the phosphating chemical conversion step, the metal surface is converted to a non-metallic, fine crystalline, phosphate layer, which inhibits corrosion, and increases surface adhesion and durability of paint finishes that follow.

Philippine Parkerizing Inc. has specially formulated the PALBOND®, PALFOS® and FERRICOAT® phosphating chemical lines to match your substrate material, application method, and process temperature.

Find the solution tailored to your process

PALBOND® is a zinc based phosphating solution suitable for either ferrous, aluminum, or galvanized substrates. It can be applied via dipping or spraying at both heated or room temperatures.

PALFOS® comes in either iron or manganese based solutions.

  • PALFOS® iron phosphating solutions are suitable for either ferrous or galvanized substrates, and can be applied via dipping or spraying at both heated or room temperatures.
  • PALFOS® manganese phosphating solutions are especially targeted at ferrous substrates undergoing hot dipping application.

FERRICOAT® is a zinc-calcium based phosphating chemical suitable for ferrous substrates and can be applied via dipping or spraying at both heated or room temperatures.
